| DC GIS Summer Youth Internship
Mayor Adrian M. Fenty's Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) serves youth who are 14 to 21 years of age. The program provides a means through which eligible youth are able to earn money while gaining meaningful work experience, skills-oriented training, and career exposure. The Office of the Chief Technology Officer's (OCTO) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team is particpating in this year's SYEP by hiring several youth as GIS Interns or Technicians.
The OCTO GIS team would like to congratulate our GIS Interns on their placement with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. The program kicked off on June 17th and will run through August 21, 2009.
